After working in the oil and gas arena for over 30 years, we’ve seen billions of cubic feet of natural gas burned off through flaring as a byproduct of oil production. As bitcoin mining, an energy intensive computing strategy for monetary rewards, has grown in popularity, we realized there was a “two-birds-one-stone” opportunity to harness this untapped resource. (Though, to be clear, we would never throw stones at birds).
We utilize the power of gas flares to run processors that mine bitcoin and in doing so, take the environmentally harmful burn-off out of the atmosphere and relieve a burden from the conventional energy grid normally tasked with this workload.

Once we determine that a site is a good candidate for one of our mobile units, installation is easy. All of our processors are monitored remotely, requiring physical intervention less than twice per year. In other words, you’ll barely know we are there.
